French-born DELPHINE LEYMARIE designs and hand sculpts her chic and modern eponymous fine jewelry line in NYC.
Her unique designs are cast in recycled 18k gold & silver and set with post-consumer certified or ethically sourced gemstones, true to her desire to create edgy mindful luxury. She designs her pieces as modern heirlooms to cherish for generations.
Born and raised in the south of France, Delphine has made New York City her home for the last two decades and her jewelry exudes both the warmth and playfulness of the beaches of her childhood and the modern architecture and energy of the city.
An artisan at her core, she translates the many facets of her life into handcrafted and modern collections reflective of her strong and minimalist design aesthetics, favoring a simplicity and purity of line and volumes that makes her jewels timeless.
While her design influences are diverse, they merge easily into one shared sensibility, enabling the pieces across collections to be worn together.
Delphine has always found solace in the arts. An avid and classically trained dancer, she also has a natural affinity with numbers that first led her to Business School.
While immersed in a career in corporate finance for creative industries, she decided to give in to her desire to also nurture her creative soul and enrolled in jewelry making classes in Manhattan.
She first trained in metalsmithing, enameling, and chain making but she really found her medium once she started learning wax carving as it better suited her love of volumes and sculptural shapes. That was 14 years ago and she has not stopped hand-sculpting jewelry since.
